DIAGONAL LAY

THE DIAGONAL LAY, OR 45 DEGREE LAY,
IS SIMILAR TO THE STRAIGHT LAY BUT THE
TILE IS LAID OUT AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE
CHANGING THE APPEARANCE OF THE
SQUARE TILES INTO A DIAMOND SHAPE.

A DIAGONAL LAY PATTERN IS ALSO
A GREAT WAY TO MAKE A SPACE FEEL
LARGER THAN IT ACTUALLY IS.

DIAGONAL LAY

The TRICK to this pattern is that the
focus is taken off of the narrowness
of the room and shifted onto the
wide angles of the tile borders.

DIAGONAL LAY 2

Because the tile angles are in line
with the viewer, they WILL see the
lines
spreading out across the room makING them
feel like they are in a much larger space.

DIAGONAL LAY 3

It Is a great PATTERN choice
for any room that you
would like to appear larger.

DIAGONAL LAY 5

THIS IS THE SECOND MOST COMMON
PATTERN USED AFTER STRAIGHT LAY.
